hmmm, pretty much meaning it's pointless on a standard gt4 bonnet unless i duct from one of the small vents into that (since i've blocked off my main vent)

i've started to notice that my car must be making some serious degrees under the bonnet. It was raining today for a little bit then stopped and after having the car idling for about 3-5 minutes the bonnet was steaming the water droplets off 8O

Think i may need to make a stainless heat shield for the turbo / manifold and put some insulation under the bonnet.

Yeah, GT4s make a stupid amount of heat 8O, would probably help by making the vents on the sides bigger to try get the heat out. I removed my under bonnet insulation (because it covered the huge vent) and it made a huge difference in temps. RC bonnets are great for that if you dont need it for a TMIC.
