a tidy 91-93 80 series 12V 4.2 TD done mid 200k's is on trade me for 13 ish.

Yup, plenty of variety in the models and pricing, but I prefer the 96-97 24valve with airbags, and thats top of 20s with under 200k on it.

Hell you could buy a 100 series with 400+k on it for low 20s... I guess as a dealer anything over 225km or older than 16 years to me suddenly plummets in usefulness as it can't be warrantied :)

the 12V responds better to basic mods like intercooler, exhuast etc than the 24V does

my 80 has done 406ks and i picked it up for $8500

but is modded for offroad use

i paid $7500 for mine 3 years ago with 217k on the clock, tidy and standard.
