Only ever briefly sat in an OMC seat, but it didn't feel too bad (I've always used Racetech) Ticks the main boxes though, known brand and FIA homologation.

If it works for your ass, I say go for it!

Reputable brand, should be pretty safe.

I *think* Maurice Thomson motors in Te Awamutu is an OMP distributor (also LVV certifier, and race car builder)

Correct Leon, I got a price list from them a few years ago. Were quite expensive from memory.

OMP seats are pretty class. would be my next choice over a racetech.

they do look like quite bulky seats though which may not be helpful to you in your midget car! perhaps you need to make it a single seater and sit in the middle?

You should be buying racetech's anyway.
reputable FIA approved NZ brand, with a seat to suit most budgets.

I am looking for good seat, and Racetech quoted me 550+GST for the RT1000 (which I think is a good price for the reputation).

Racetech pointed me to:
Motorsport Fabrications Ltd
Unit P
4 Titan Place
Silverdale

Are these guys good?
