For the most part we watch a bit of the race, go outside & throw a rugby ball or something, watch a bit more, have a BBQ, watch a bit more again etc. etc.

The only exception is my mates wife - who will watch the race start to finish without interuptions (& gets angry when we make too much noise). Her dad is usually in Murphs' pit. He spends an insane amount of Holden clothing, HSV's & regular Holdens (including his fleet of Holden company cars for his business), and he once yelled at me for parking my Mazda (aka: brother to Ford) in his driveway.

Sounds like a perfect wife with the dream in-law :)

Yeah his father-inlaw has some sweet, sweet, cars (classics and new) which he is more then happy to lend out to family. They're all immaculate and original as if from factory (exhaust mods are okay. Anything else (mags included) is not a allowed).

He also has a view that his cars are built to be driven with vigor & enthusasim, therefore they should be driven that way.

Yes, I will be watching. It's the only circuit racing I take the time to watch (as most is about as exciting as fish paste) and I do so fanatically every year.

LOL... only time will tell... RSA will defeat australia, and meet you in the finials... I support both teams.... but honestly the All Blacks are great at test matches and tri-nations etc but come to world cup dont seem to keep cool.

Ford will dominate GM, as ford rule, chevy suck and thats really it...

Oh as a side note, every bathurst I cook my special 18 hour slow cooked steak, a whole rump steak I cook in my Bbbq smoker with hickory and apple chunks of wood for flavour and my special BBQ rub.. its to die for and if you want to come over let me know....

Will be surrounded by bogan Ford fans (brother and his mates) watching it on the projector in the garage while I finish reassembling the 3SGTE, so wont be able to avoid it, or the compulsory shots every 20 laps depending on who is in the lead.

Go Holden! ( I dont really care which brand of taxi wins.. but like winding them up)

Bathurst = 1000kms of crashes and safety car periods, with a 10-lap sprint race at the end.

Unlikely, but hopefully a 1-2 with Murph.

I dont know about unlikely?

Maybe not probable, but definitely possible.

He is the master of making tyres last longer than others, and with the HUGE mix up with the 2 massively different batches of wet tyres this weekend, the difference between the right and wrong tyres, and the right point of the race, is over 2 seconds a lap.

Imagine how good a gis-mac win would be? Just imagine :)

If it rains for the majority, the Giz has to be a serious contender. He's pretty much the fastest driver in the series when it's wet.

Cameron Waters pretty sweet save. The kid's only 17!

Well the qualifying table is looking a little RED at the moment :)

Only two of those crappy Ford's managed to find any semblance of speed it would appear, but no surprises there...

Can't wait for the shootout and race tomorrow...

Nice coverage of the ad's on TV3 today. Stupid Bathurst coverage keeps interupting them every now and then though.

Opps, it would appear i got a wee bit mixed up...

TV3 suck.
