Steel tee pieces

Who does em? Wanting to put an oil pressure gauge on this 3SGTE, and keep the idiot light. The brass ones I've gotten in the past are too long as well, need something sub 50mm long

Specific threads / pic example?

Have used them in the past on gas cylinder installations at pretty high pressures. Thread pitch / size may differ though. Would be just black steel I think the ones we used. Can't just use a galv t?

We normally remote mount them if your running a gauge ane a light,
Use a piece of braided hose from the engine and mount the T piece on the inner guard etc then size doesn't matter and it's not so prone to vibration.

I don't know if they do steel too, but if I want brass fittings, I go here: http://www.twiggwgtn.co.nz/

This is good idea. I have had those T-pieces crack before.

Can get brass tees in the configuration of champions (female female male 8) ) - an 1/8th brass tee is pretty compact

Brass is readily available, can get em through work no problem - but as others have said, they can crack, and in an MR2 its a mongrel of a spot so I dont want that to happen.
Luke - from memory, 1/8 BSPT. Galv might work  The braided line idea is pretty sound though, might investigate that.

Let me know if you want me to look into a steel one. We use a place in town for odd bits and bobs, can pop in and ask.
