so whats to do in palmy next weekend?

hey guys and gals!
im heading to palmy/foxton next week thurs the 9th for my grandparents diamond anniversary (that is 60 years!) and pretty keen to get a good couple of nights out of the gas bill, ill be heading back saturday.. so whats happeing and where? and whos keen to meet up, party & show me a good time in the town? dont be shy, i dont bite!

Im sorry to say that palmy is a hole.............Sorry if i offended anyone but i lived there for 4 years for uni and it suked.

I can recommend good restaurants though, also where you can find yourself a ferrari 430 to look/steal. XD

every town has downfalls, but its what you make it that counts. last time i went a few years back it was pretty sweet!

The windmills are a impressive sight.

There are the Hydro dams up in the ranges behind shannon.

Cant think of anything else :P

depends what time of the year it is. we have got exams atm so no one is really going out to the pubs.

and luckily for me cars and driving is more important then uni so it doesn't deter me :P

already have life insurance in the form of a roll cage and harnesses :wink:

yeah depends what your stomach is like it may be advisable to not eat prior :twisted:

Feilding has a track about 15 mins away from Palmy. Not sure if anything's on next weekend though.

I'd avoid the Saddle this weekend. Boys at work are planning to do a bit of roadworking there since the Gorge is SNAFU.
