Wheel & tire load ratings

Postby ®usty » Wed Nov 09, 2011 6:39 pm

Hey I'm Rusty's brother

Just wanting to know what the go is about load ratings. I have a Allex and I'm wanting to put some new rims and tires on. Factory tire rating is Front: 88 Rear: 87.
The problem is alot of the 205/50r16 only go up to 87

Would it be safe and legal to put the 87 load rated tire on the front?

And rim load ratings does the tire load rating also apply to the rims, do I need to go 560kg/88 or higher?

Cheers Malcolm.
