SW20 earth points

Anyone know how many earth points there are meant to be in an SW20? Everything is all back together, but the car doesnt crank - starter motor solenoid clicks like a mofo though.
Starter bench tests fine though, and the main cable shows basically battery voltage at the terminal, so I'm assuming there arent enough earth points on the motor to let it spin properly? So goddamn close, I just wanna take it for a drive today

Car didn't have any problems starting even in $&#$% mode so shouldn't be any problems with elstarter

Mine has 3 main (fat) earth cables in the engine bay. Main one goes to the gearbox, another goes from there to the Pass side gearbox mount and another goes from there to the engine block under the intake manifold and behind the alternator. Then there are probably 10+ little earth cables from random engine bits (not sensors) to the chassis/body.

What does the voltage at starter do when you crank it?

Easiest way to check if its an earth fault with out a mulitmeter is
just Put a jumper lead from the block to chassis or to battery negative and try cranking

Battery is mint, plenty of CCA according to the analyser, voltage is ~12.5. My theory is correct, lack of earth points Added one from the head to the chassis and we have cranking
Might do some skids tomorrow
Chris - cheers. I knew there was one from the right side strut tower to the block but figured there had to be more. Will mash some more on tonight just in case

Yeah can't have enough earths really with the battery so far away from the engine.
