Can anybody tell me if the ee80 corolla is the same as a new zealand corolla or if this will take all me race car parts.

I think one of the engine mounts is different (gbox or the other end) and the rest is identical..

drivers side mount on the chassis is different, but you can unstitch the one from your race car and weld it in. not 100% sure if front crossmember is the same. all suspension pickup points and panel points are the same though.

ee80 uses a c series gbox so crossmember is the same from what I can tell, only difference is the cambelt side mount.

I haven't played around yet but I seem to recall people saying there is a difference in the suspension setup but for the life of me I haven't been able to find anything different - possibly shock length? Dunno, I dismissed the claims but just something to be aware of. (my liftback I am 'putting' the beams 3s into is an ee80 - where 'putting' = procarastinating about)

Any differences in the suspension will have been shock and bush specs for the local market.

^ possibly, I am sure I read somewhere (on here?) someone put ae82 shocks with kings or something and it raised the ride height in their ee80, sounds $&#$% though.

Edit; apologies for semi OT chit chat, really gutted to see Grant, and that it happened on cooldown!

Gutted to hear about your car grant, was a very cool beast.

If you need some additional labour I'm more than happy to help out to get you back out there.

the main difference was the bolt hole sizes and the bolts use to join the hub to the macpherson strut . 8) other than what has been already mentioned buggar all difference in the body , in fact can be better for race car cause there is no sound deadening to get rid of
