I think theyre talking about when you sand the edges of the pads so its not a right angle edge.

Yeah I recall some of the Toyota ones being a bit like that, not quiet to that extent though. Close though if you sort of straighten the lines I guess

I think the Bendix "stealth" ones are moulded like that after reading the packaging

who cares about race pad squel!?! thats half the fun of driving a race car on the road. all the rattles/squeeks/knocks road cars don't have.

Bugger no change after fitting backing shims and tapering the leading edge, guess I'll just have to put up with it.

Weird i run DS3000's when im at manfeild and my brakes are silent, even on the road. I'm using unmachined discs as well.

Re-grease sliders?
My DS3000s are normally quiet. No shims or any other anti squeal stuff installed either.
