Where to flow test injectors?

Can anyone recommend where to get injectors tested/cleaned in Wellington/Hutt?
Diesel and Turbo said $40-45 per injector.

I don't think Shred do. They are the ones who said I should test any injectors I get, otherwise I would just waste money on my tune if the injectors are bung. They didn't imply that they could test them...

stm don't say anything on their website about injector testing.

Lots of places can do it. Most Auto Sparkys I'd imagine.
Alexanders in Welly do for sure.
But seeing as you well up in Boganville I'd ring a few local sparkys

Dont think you're gonna get much cheaper than Diesel and Turbo. There was a fuel injection place on Sydenham St that I had mine done. Dunno if they're still there. Cost me more than you've been quoted and for all I know they probably went to D&T to get done

+1 to what ionic said, that seems to be the going rate, tho I have been quoted $130 each for side feeds + replacing all the seals etc.

I once took a set of vr4 injectors to petroject in and they told me that it was pretty much a waste of time to get them flow tested and to only worry about flow testing if there was issues after fitting them.
Since then I have brought and used about 6 sets of second hand injectors and never bothered getting them tested before getting the car tuned...

I am not saying that this is necessarily a good practice but it seems to have worked for me so far...

I imagine you are talking about petrol injectors?

Ask around local garages, they would know a local place to get them done.

I took mine to a local place and I watched as the guy (used to work at my work place before I started but was on good terms with) ultrasonically cleaned the injectors and then flow tested them and then replaced the seals all for free.

There isn't that much (labour wise) to flow testing them, more so the equipment and jigs they have set up.

It is tempting. But dyno time is more expensive than testing injectors.

i got 4 tested with all new seals from vantage in chch for $50

I would advise against that. I have recerntly flow tested 11 rx7 injectors (from 3 different cars) and only 6 flowed the same. With in the each set had at least one the was flowing so low as to be a real issue when it comes to tunning. Is saving on flow testing worth risking running lean?
