Standard GT Starlet or AE101/111 radiator size

Postby Elmendorf » Fri Dec 30, 2011 10:33 am

Hey guys,

Anyone on here have a standard EP82 GT starlet or AE101/111 radiator they could measure up for me???

As always starletcentral was a bust for help, so hoping someone on here may be able to assist.

I don't have one anymore as I put a half size radiator in, but with the introduction of a larger turbo it no longer fits as it competes for space with the turbo and sits up too high, can not physically get it any lower.

So looking for something that will fit between the intercooler and in front on the factory radiator mounting position as there is room for the right size radiator, as long as its not too tall. Tried the half size one but it would sit too low to the ground.

Needing overall dimensions of height and length.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

AE111(bzg)- 665mm(w) X 470mm(h) pretty accurate, but give or take 10mm.

Top pipe 290 from passenger side, bottom pipe 200 from passenger side.

Also, check out this seller as they sell radiators, but mainly look as they list sizes of the cores. http://www.trademe.co.nz/stores/ace-of-parts

Thanks for that. 170mm too high and 65mm too wide

Might have to look at chopping down the half size one

try a early 90's townace/liteace. they are end tank type and from memory the core is around 300-330mm high. I had one in my ae104 mounted between the top rad support panel and the bottom rad support panel (which by the sounds of it is what you are trying to do)

What were the dimensions of the townace one? Sounds pretty appropriate for my slightly unique EP82 setup

Apologies I didn't see thread on SC or I would have measured up a stocker for you.
