installing flywheel

Postby zerodentz » Sun Jan 01, 2012 9:59 am

hi, i have stripped our corolla 2e engine, i marked the flywheel and crankshaft before removing but not good enough so the mark on the crank has been washed off, can anyone tell me if it matters if the flywheel isnt in its original position to the crank, there are six bolts that hold it on. thanks mike.

well, there _may_ be a slight imbalance, depending on how it was set up originally and how the rest of the crank assembly was balanced, but i wouldnt worry about it too much
