in my experience TRD springs are colored by rating, there will probably be a chart somewhere that tells you what color means what.

those look like a random assortment of generic aftermarkets

edit - here ya go

Front springs look to be Dobi, so probably fitted since your car has been here in NZ, certainly not TRD Springs anyway.

What's the diameter of the coils on the rear springs?

Looks like I got hammered hard like you bought your last car rob LOL.

Rears aren't cut by any chance? Just that I would've thought the coils will be close together on the last two turns and the end doesn't look like a clean cut

to get any kind of decent low out of it, and retain captive springs you need to get a bit creative with your shock selection.

honestly, adjustables will save you alot of potentially expensive headaches.

i mean this
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 074040.htm

infinitely adjustable height preload and dampening.

where as the TRD spring over shock is only adjustable dampening so the height is fixed unless you cut the springs (illegal)

those BCs are great value as far as i can tell. i believe they are made in korea? the great thing about that particular set is they can bolt straight into the car, no pissing around with old spindles, or switching to a coilover setup at the back. D1 do you know if they are camber adjustable at the front? bit hard to see in the pic and the ad doesnt mention.

the only draw back to height adjustable suspension is needing a low volume cert.

i spent absolutely ages dicking around with shocks and springs on my hachi, convinced i could get the look / handling i wanted without spending the earth.

wasted hours changing shit out, and spent more than what adjustables would have cost me in the first place. and frankly it still was not exactly what i had envisioned. if you dont want to go the adjustable route, feel free to PM me for details of where i ended up on mine.
