Aftermarket drop in filter for Aristo

Im looking into getting an aftermarket drop in filter for the standard air box (heard its better than a pod filter) where is a good place to get them, iv seen one on trademe (hks) is it anygood? ive seen the hks foam crumble after a lil while!!!

I can help with a used TRD or Apexi both are a vast improvement over stock but not as good as HKS

You can own one for half the price of the Altezza type that fits

I got a Trust drop in filter for the Mark II (1JZGTE), with no other mods apart from cat back exhaust we ran back to back comparison on the dyno, with the Trust one and a standard Toyota filter and there was no difference at all.

Its great in the fact that its washable, so I wont have to buy another one (as long as I own the car anyway)

After reading a few topics on other forums Im prob just goin to go with an OEM filter.
