Suspension for AW - supply of Koni in NZ ?

Postby Guss » Wed Feb 08, 2012 8:58 pm

Have been eying up the adjustable Koni's on TwosRus for the AW.
Started looking around to see if i can get them local instead of sending money offshore but Stocks quoted me almost 50% more than twosrus (excluding shipping) and i see Fourtyone has them listed as even more.

Any other suggestions for sourcing Koni in NZ.

Any feedback from Malcom (got some twosrus koni's)

It would be worth checking with Fortyone to see what their current price is, but TBH you're almost certainly going to be better off buying from twosrus. If it'll make you feel better, you could just give an NZ dealer $100 and it'll probably still work out cheaper for you, depending on whether you get stung for GST and import duties when they come in.

I was lucky that I had some mates in the USA and was able to get them brought back for free, I think they cost around $850, but the NZ dollar wasn't as strong back then.

try getting the koni's priced up thru someone who gets trade price, works out a fair bit cheaper with stocks/was when i checked.

Thanks guys. yeah after dampener adjustable shocks not coil overs - CBF'ed with re-cert for something that might get adjusted twice (one for the super low pic then again for a reasonable ride height)
