altezza 6cyl oil change

hi guys need to do a service on the gfs altezza.
Just wondering what grade oil these run as I dnt have a service manual for the car. And what do you reckon for the filter.. Oh wait Tgp?

TGP oil filter.
5W30/40 or 0W30/40 is something I would use in those engines.

Or 10W30 or 10W40 or various other thicknesses. Viscosity isn't everything

Yep, given the OP lives in fielding i'd totally ignore the number before the W, and anything that ends in 30 or 40 wont hurt the engine for daily driver use.
Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.

I take it they run a mineral or semi syn from the factory?

The brand is not that important (as long as it is reputable), as how often you replace oil.

I run a 10/40 semi syn quartz total.
Can use a generic Z9 if you plan on longer change intervals, or a tiny one (forget the number) if you don't mind changing it more often and you worry about oil pressure at startup.

But in general, if its black and slippery, it'll do the job.

bwhaha, true, unless it's a diesel, and then soon as the oil SEEs the engine, I swear it turns black.
