How to tie this head-shield on...??

Needing to find a way to attach my heat shield to something....

I have some stainless mig wire - will that work?

We use little metal grommets and stainless lockwire for similar materials on aircraft engines.
Daily driver: Toyota RunX/Toyota Caldina
Ex: 2x AE101, 5x KP60, KP61, EP71, 3x KE70, KE72, AE70, AE82, 2x TE71, AE90, AE92, ST170, plus 11 Hondas, 12 Nissans, 6 Fords, 4 Mazdas, 3 Mitsis, an Isuzu and a Lada!

Cant lift a bolt off the external and mount a bracket of it?
Then just bolt into that?

Thought about that but can't get to the bolts while the heatshield is in place. Oh wait - you mean the top bolts? Not the ones that bolt it to the manifold! Good idea - will have a think about that!

Might track down some lock wire in case I can't mount it with a bracket etc.

Brad 'dellorto' sold my my sheet of the heay sheild. I have it around my VVti solenoid and it works a treat.

SCA sell it for $60 a sheet. Great stuff and very formable to any shape you need.

Has that hks copy wastegate been used before? The reason I ask is I know dozens of people running that exact gate who have had failures with them, either sticking closed, sticking open, or the valve simply breaking off at the stem.

Just a heads up for you anyway mate
