I had a manual jzz30 back in 05/06 when they were still rare and fairly expensive here

As above, manual conversions, LSDs and suspension parts can be hard to get (esp second hand) and so are expensive to modify compared to nissan etc

They are mean tho - plenty power, and handle/slide well, but are also heavy, and with worn old shocks and bushes can be fairly leisurely in the handling dept - they are brilliant when sorted though, just heavyish

Great cars to own, but forget about making a profit on it - they take the right kind of buyer and therefore they are not that easy to sell - the yobbos and dickheads tend towards nissan, and the toyota buyers have short arms and long pockets and can be hard getting a good sale.

If you want profit, go for a honda or nissan - a nice car for yourself - pick up this soarer

Leon I contacted him when this thread started via pm, and he said he'd pass my phone number on to the owner, but he(owner) hasn't made contact... so i'm not holding my breath- will look elsewhere.
