Not that I'm aware of. I think he's more a truck driver / welder type of guy rather than an internet posting stuff type of guy.

But he likes his 100 series Corolla's. One of his previous ones was a turbo diesel version with the boost cranked up. Though one of his friends wrote that one off, so I've heard about it, but never seen it.

Was a good day up the hill yesterday :)

The owner of the datsun 1200 that went backwards down the bank got away extremely lightly. From where I was, it appeared he did virtually no panel damage, ripped of the rear wing, and popped the exhaust of its mounts. It started first pop when it was pulled back onto the track

It seemed the field was smaller this year, circa 28 cars or so, and I saw 4 runs before leeaving in the arvo.

What were the fastest times of the day btw?

There were 54 cars. They ran half the field up then brought them back down.

Results were (fairly) live on the day on ChrisSport website.

Yellow Evo 5 won.

Yup 54 drivers started.

Maybe three or four cars were double entered (two drivers, same car).

The Omega H6 turbo, yellow/blue Sti rally car, blue Mk1 Escort, probably a couple of others that I've forgot about.

Murray in the pale yellow Evo did it in 44.78 seconds , the next 3 cars were in the mid to high 45 seconds then the next 4 cars (including me in the panda starlet) were in the 47 second bracket.

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Is that yellow thing a 3? I'll be damned. The tupperware party on it's face confused me.

Yeah the front bumper looks to be an EVO VI TME but still has the 3 side indicator lights in the guards. Back end is all EVO 3 except for the under tray.

Heheh, Marcus was loose all day!
I'm just pissed that I tore the lining on my clutch, meaning I could only run most of the hill in third cause downshifting wasn't an option.
