What are the net streams like these days? Can you find a HD quality feed pretty easy? Always found them pretty hit or miss when I last used to use them.

Cheers for that info mate.

Eek there goes most of my months plan lol

I was watching an apparent HD feed and running it into my 22" led tv and it was no perfect but very good quality given it was a stream.

Do the people who upload the streams tend to drop the quality down alot to save bandwidth or just upload it raw?

vipbox was the one I used all weekend, and as above I would say it was an 8 out of ten for quality, but it only glitched once and was super reliable, which is important too.

Vipbox didn't work at all for me for the race.

Really?? Thats bizarre.

It was 100% reliable for me all weekend, and out of all the streams I trawled through last year, it was by far the most reliable.

Just PM me if you want to "borrow" my copy on dvd.

Was perfect for p3 and qual. But wouldn't load at all for race. Used fivebobs link to watch via speed

They weren't too bad actually. The ads were more annoying. However USA ads are much better thanours

You guys should do some digging and try find some private streams. I know a few years back before I had sky, I managed to get through the grapevine some private feeds every now and then that bernie never shut down. Good quality, and would only have 10-20 ppl watching it, so never seemed to crap itself either.

Does anyone know how to make a stream?
Guessing it probably uses a ton of bandwidth?

Only 5 hours until FP1 in Malaysia :)

Thunderstorms are predicted all weekend, and if thats the case, given how late they have moved the sessions in order to suit european viewers better, we can almost guarantee that quali and the race will be affected. Monsoon style ;)

It will be great to see the cars hit a proper racetrack to see the real pecking order emerge. Tyre deg is normally a huge issue at Sepang, but as Pirelli are supplying the new Hard, and Medium compounds, durability will be better than last year, but how much better is anyones guess.

Go Schu :)

If you have an android phone, and would like live timing on your phone, there a people talking on the f1 subreddit about how to get it.

Tyres are going to be the bane of mercedes. Mind you the forcast is for storms so they might last a bit longer

Just emailed sky to complain and request the dedicated channel, might I suggest other sky customers do the same? If enough complain they might do something one day...

Its really pleasing to see Raikkonen able to fight it out with the Vettels Hamiltons and Buttons of the world.Ferrari are in for another disappointing season in my eyes it seems they have a better race package than Quali but they are behind the 8 ball already.

Rain rain go away... Well, some of it at least....

Referring to my issue swith vipbox last week. It's seems after race start they kill the website. If you are on the stream already it's fine. But if you are not bad luck!

Don't think so, I joined the stream about 10mins into the race last week.
