Head gasket proceedures

Hey guys. About to torque my head down finally.

Ive looked online for some tips and recommendations, and noticed someone recommending using copper gasket spray in conjunction with TRD MLS head gaskets. Is this really a good idea? The size Im using is 0.8mm, and I have ARP head studs.

Also, my block was bored 0.5mm over. Is this going to be an issue at all with this gasket? Its a very very tiny difference..

Anything else I should be aware of?

How well prepared are the surfaces of the head, and block?

Did you have either of them decked?

Yes, both are flat and true.

dont use copper spray on a new trd gasket use as is, oversized bore is fine.
make sure the surface on block and head is a smooth skim not coarse

can use copper spray and reuse trd gaskets if your keen/cheap. and yes it does work ive reused one, three times so far..

just called the guys that machined my block, and they said pretty much you _can_ do so, but really just to not bother.
