Damn you sky not shwing it live!

Its a fcuken joke!!!

Whats worse if that they choose to delay live F1, so they can show god damned highlights of golf?!?! Seriously?!?! Could that not have been delayed instead?

Im not a sky customer, but pay for it through telstra.

Who wasts to make a big complaint to them about this? I defintely do but have been fobbed off every time I write a huge letter of complaint to them, with them saying they dont have any sway over how things are broadcast.

If I used facetube I would make a page and see how many others feel the same, Im sure there would be hundreds in NZ who feel ripped off with the constant relegation of live motorsport, just to show pointless replays of golf or replays of an old netball game etc

End Rant/

Go Schu :)

Indeed. If the temperatures are good for them, their long run pace will bring them right back into the action, later in the race.

Their car seems to be set up to perfectly take advantage of Pirelli's, now, seemingly crucial, window of operation in regards to temperature, whether thats by luck or good fortune, Im not sure, but either way its a huge benefit to them.

AWESOME!!

Great to see Nico and Mercedes finally get on the top step, good things are finally coming their way, and even though they wont be strong at every track, they will be a major part of the fight.

It was an almost perfect race for them, apart from Schu's pit stop issue that cost him and the team a certain 1-2. Good luck has to come his way soon to claim win #92 :)

This season just keeps getting better, now its time to see what 45 deg track temps do for everyone in 5 days time, no doubt the picture will be blurred again, and we wont have a clear picture until spain.

I honestly think China is one of the most boring tracks in F-1.

I mean honestly without the DRS zones this thing would have been a snooze fest of the highest order.

quite an entertaining one with that 9 car trail for second place! that made such a huge difference when kimis tyres went, and so suddenly!

Good on Nico, he had it coming after qualifying and mercedes seem like they may have sorted out that tire wear issue. If that is the case, they will certainly be a force now. They seem to be higher in the speed traps than anyone else as well.

Alright guys opinions on Kimi Raikkonen's return to me it seems like the guy is more mature he still obviously has the talent and is fast as F**K also what is everyones thoughts on how well he and Lotus are going.

He has always had the talent to drive fast when the car is working well, as it was on sunday. Of that there is no doubt.

Lotus have built a slippery car this year, and on sunday, the track temperature, and their car set up, fell perfectly into the narrow window that the Pirelli's seem to operate in this year.

Just as Mercedes did in China, as Alonso and Perez did in Malaysia, and Button did in Australia. You only have to be slightly off with your set up and you fall either side of this window and fall off the cliff.

This season is going to be all about these tyres, and the cars set up, so expect to see multiple winners, and extremely exciting races with only tiny gaps between the cars :)

It will lessen to a certain extent as the weather stabilises and the teams accumulate enough data to make more educated changes, rather than the finger crossing they have been resorting to since the Australian GP.

The upcoming test at Mugello will help the teams fine tune their set ups before arriving at Catalunya, but the tyres will still be a major factor this year, of that, there is no doubt.

Not that I think Austin will even happen this year, but imagine it had kept its initial date on the calendar, the tyres would have had another huge test mid season in the texas heat.

The operating window for the tires this season is so narrow, each race so far has favoured different teams and more so on the temperature than the track itself which is different! Remember Malaysia, Raikkonens tires went off the cliff instantly and he drifted from 2nd to about 7th in something like 2 corners.

Raikkonen, wow im so happy he is back. He had fresh tires for the race and he used them to the full potential! 11th to 2nd. This season to me is definately the top of recent years. So many world champions on the grid plus no individual dominance evident so far (dear god I hope Vettel does not get on a roll and ruin the spectacle of this season like he did the last)

I think that Kimi's tyre issues in Malaysia looked alot worse on TV than the truth of the matter though.

Sure his tyres were worn out, but the main reason for him slipping back down the field so quickly was that he was muscled onto the marbles for about 5 or 6 corners in a row, so that seriously compounded his issues.

It will be so interesting this year to get to Spain, which has always historically been where the teams bring their first major upgrades, and where the pecking order is clearly defined by the circuits high demands that are placed on the tyres and the aero package, but to leave knowing no more than we do now.

3 weeks is too long to wait but atleast the multi day test at Mugello will give us something to chew on until then :)

Lot of interesting tactical decisions going on in Qualifying with a lot of drivers opting to maximize race pace and save tyres.
