Wheel repairs

Postby BattleSnayke » Fri Apr 20, 2012 8:01 pm

Another question for you. I noticed my wheel was flat today so took it to Tonys who found a crack on the other lip of the wheel. It's a hairline crack, about 5cms long.

Iv been told that it is repairable and there's a place in Naenae that can weld over the crack and repolish the wheel.

Has anyone ever had this done? And how much does it cost?

Love buying cars when things keep going wrong.

Take a photo and post it up,

Ive repaired many alloy wheels,
damage around spokes or mounting holes determines if its scrap or not
