I remember when AJZ had his st185, was running a zaust and about 13psi.

He used to get around 350kms from a 68L tank around town in dunedin, and that WASNT fanging it.

My old RS legacy (single turbo) used to get around 370kms from 55L.

Ah the jobs of first gen turbos

Or stuffed o2 sensors, ecu in limp mode or running cold.

I had thermostat issues with a MAP 4agze and it would get 250km per 45L normal driving! It doubled once sorted (was north south so thermostat housing was inline custom setup).

EDIT: I got around 14km/l in old ae101 20v on a long trip and about 11.5 to 12km/l in morning traffic.

Current Curren 3sge daily gets about 10km/l mostly stop go traffic. Was 8km/l before changing o2 sensor.

New shape Corolla wagon 1.5 litre version 21km/L loaded for weekend away with mrs and 2 kids + paraphernalia. Christchurch to Nelson via Lewis Pass. All about being a smooth mofo and not braking ever. I reckon 25km/L would be doable if traffic was light enough to not need to overtake etc.
