Elmo, you hit the nail on the head with those pics! Awesome setup, kinda green eyed about your snap on set :D

Unfortunately working at Toyota they have supplied me with a black roll cab and top box, "gotta keep it uniform"

Thats my work setup. Hopefully going to upgrade my spanner set to a nice shiny new snap-on setup shortly. nothing like quality tools for quality work!

This is my at home setup. Do have a roll cab aswell, but since im not allowed it at work (because its the wrong colour  ) My brother is borrowing it.

Also have a Wayco 3 tonne low level trolley jack, a bunch of axle stands, engine crane and assorted bits and bobs. Next addition to my home wares is going to be a compressor!

Elmo, nice gear!

Scottie, that's a Blue point set isn't it?

evil si, that is an awesome setup! lol if I was in Wellington, I wouldn't even have enough room to fit it in my garage.

My stuff is in a cabinet, in boxes, gathering dust lol Pics coming soon!

Actually, just a random query for the Chch people here, but does anyone have a trade account at Avon Tools? :D

Some awesome setups in here. Mine are nothing special. Phone pics are not the best but you get the idea. The garage at home is part way through being sorted so stuff is everywhere and messy as $&#$% atm.

Work box - 10 Drawer Autochief chest with T&E Tools. Nothing spectacular, work supplies all air tools/special tools so only really have the usual stuff in my toolbox.

Weirdest thing in my toolbox is probably in this drawer. Spent 12ga shotgun shell would be a top contender I suppose.

Image

Home box 1 - 6 drawer Kincrome with all the usual tools. Nothing weird in my home toolboxes I don't think.

Home box 2 - My old toolbox. 8 drawer trademe junk. Has various random tools in it. Handy for dragging over to the other side of the garage/outside when working on crap since it's lighter than my Kincrome box and has much the same stuff in it

Not sure how many options there are. But for $350/$500 you're getting some decent space. (front page)

Your kidding me??? Ive been in dealerships most of my career and never heard that. I went for the job that you got (they wouldnt pay me enough tho), but if they told me that and the option was something of less quality than my current box I would have told them to eff off.

I think thats wrong, unless they supply all the tools then they cant expect all their mechanics to have uniform tools.

I'll take some photos of my boxes tommorow. Although its piss poor compared to Simons massive set
