I think its pretty safe to say this car will never see its top speed with this owner.

I never would have expected Simon Cowell to be a good driver either, but ...

Maybe being a judge on crappy reality tv isnt such a bad career path lol

You never know, he's a car guy and has the budget to rent a track if he wanted to.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks like complete shit?

It looks like a circumcised tie fighter or something.

I don't see point point of expensive car like this. I remember when I used to build race cars even a humble 1600cc with a right driver could beat an Mitsubishi motors evolution.

If he has money then his choice i know but does it make him feel better? Or as people say is he compensating for something?

I dont think so...

If you've got enough money that it's irrelevant, then why not get exactly what you want?

Cost/benefit is irrelevant when the cost is irrelevant.

thats a pretty bold claim, i mean thats a fairly serious car. if you were a poser i reckon it would be something a bit different.

but either way, what does it matter? its his money etc.

jealous IMO, i know i sure am. not so much of the specific vehicle, but the incredible wealth that lets him buy shit like that.

My reasoning for the poser value has very little to do with the car Tyler could hire a track but at the age of 60 odd I don't see this guy exploring the true performance of this car so in my eyes what else does he have this car for.

I mean what is it 1000+ hp or something silly like that RWD and unless Steve Tyler has hidden F-1 driver ability I can only but assume it is there for the look at me value nothing else.

Most bold claims are probably based on assumptions anyway. Anyone that doesn't see the point in owning such a sweet car, or that thinks they own it for the wrong reasons are just jealous. IMO.

Do you need hidden F1 driver ability to own the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini? If so I better let someone I know they are a poser for having such a car and only fanging it on the road.

An automatic Supra whale is a pretty crappy idea for a track car. Not even manual? Must be a possssssssser.

I want a drive of the thing, must go well

Shit If I had the $ I'd buy a BRM V16. Not to drive. I'd keep it in my lounge and crank it up when I run out of Viagra

He bought it because he wanted one and had the money for one. There doesn't have to be a point to everything. Some people actually buy things purely because they want to have them - novel idea.

frankly the stupid grin it would put on his face whenever he gave the loud pedal a squeeze was probably reason enough.
