Blatantly stolen image...

Pretty much one half of the bearing will feel loose when it comes out, you'll notice the shaft is worn on one half and not the other if this is the problem you've having. Notice the lip at the top and bottom caused by the wear.

Hopefully just the nut hasn't been tightened up or something else though, otherwise it'll be a case of taking the bearing back apart.

Holy heck - mine didn't look anything like that! Mine was pretty immaculate compared to that lol

This is my old st185 hub from the front. Mechanic was rough changing over the bearing for my friend who owned the car before me. Subsequently, the bearing, hub and hub carrier unit all died (f'kn useless mechanic)...

This is the rear st215 hub cleaned up. Nice and straight, only slight wear to the shaft.

Torque wrench only went up to 210NM.

I cranked it past 210NM and overall was able to tighten it up enough to take the slack out.
