STOLEN - e39a vr4 galant

Postby VR-4Squid » Thu Jun 21, 2012 9:41 am

My vr4 was stolen from my garage last night.

Padlock was ripped off the door - doesn't look like anything else was taken, just the car.

Pictures were taken on sunday:

Or if its loaded with good parts, it could be a "friend" who knew about it?

Sorry to hear, thieves of all description should be pilloried in the town square and the public allowed to do as they will

Yeah it's been sat in a paddock for 14 months then in the garage for another 3, just got it running the weekend before last.

Aside from the wheels there's actually $&#$% all on it that's worth any money, it's pretty much put together from the leftovers from other peoples projects - most of which have been modified to suit. The coilovers for example won't bolt into anything else - not even another vr4.

Have just noticed they also took my 3/4hp ryobi bench grinder, as well as a complete spare cylinder head I had sitting on the bench and an evo intercooler.

Found the boss kit lying on the ground, but not the car half of the quick release.

Yeah, got it running about two weeks ago. Had driven it a grand total of about 800m since then.

Your garage is deceptive, it certainly doesnt look like you'd clock up 800m in there (being un road worthy so you wouldnt have driven on road) 8)

Sure is!

Once upon a time it had a big GRD windscreen banner too.

To be honest doing a big skid somewhere blatant and having it crushed would've been preferable to letting whatever low life scum has it now get hold of it... would've made the front page of the paper too!

Yup, 18" x 9" +30 5x114.3

Kinda regret not having them painted four different stupid fluro colours now, would've made them a lot easier to recognise.

I couldn't rebuild it for what insurance would pay out, not even close (probably struggle to replace just the wheels).
