Does anyone know if any of the AE111s that are in the Auckland yards (about 4 at the moment) have a driver's side wind deflector?

I don't think any of them do.

Speaking of AE111's, a maroon BZ-G came into the Mangere yard yesterday. Checked it out this morning. The Blacktop motor is sludgy and it's an automatic, but isn't accident damaged.

There's also a white AE101 Levin GT Apex which came into the Takanini yard on Monday.

^ Yes you're right, was pissing down with rain when I was there so didn't pay too much attention.

A dark blue SW20 MR2 came into the Mangere yard yesterday.

A 1992 Corolla Ceres (AE101) just came into the Takanini yard. It's the GT model so has the 4A-GE 20v Silvertop engine and rear disc brakes. Also has a sunroof. Auto trans, but has only done 112,000km, cambelt changed at 98,000km. No accident damage so suspect engine or transmission damage.

Just went to the mangere yard.

There's a black top there but it's pretty much in bits.

3 x MR2's. all Gen 1's... 2 x auto 1 x manual.

Black (ex red) auto, pretty much all gone
black, manual N/A, half gone
metallic orange (ex-red), auto, in alright nick, until I got there :)

I think that might be gone now. I remember seeing it there about a week ago, but I've been almost every day this week and I can't recall seeing it. It had a pretty long run so was pretty well stripped out.

No hatches there at the moment that I can think of unfortunately. I'll keep my eyes peeled though. There's an AE100 SE Limited diesel that came in the other day, but that was the last Corolla to arrive so far.

I'm also on the lookout for an ae101 hatch bumper.
Hopefully two hatches come in.

Basically a wreckers where you pull the bits yourself and there are no warranties. Standard prices no matter what car the part is from.

They want heaps and heaps for whole cars normally. I asked once and they said "well there's about $3000 or $4000 worth of parts on it...)

Anyone going to the Mangere yard anytime soon? I'm after the drivers side C pilalr trim from the 98 Maxima they have there, provided its tan/cream sorta colour.

There's a 1991 AE101 Trueno GT Apex that has just come into the Takanini yard late yesterday afternoon. Everything was virtually intact when I was there this afternoon.

It's the SUPERSTRUT model, so it has the huge front discs and twin-pot calipers.

Few things I noticed: Driver's window regulator stuffed, steering wheel worn, boot garnish between tail lights broken, glovebox latch broken.

I had the pleasure of meeting 3 fellow ToySpeed members at the Mangere Pick-A-Part yard today (KinLoud, MrOizo and GT4-SUM). Wasn't planned or anything, I was just in Pick-A-Part removing a TRD exhaust I came across when I was approached by Ken after he recognised my Corolla in the car park :)

Didn't really have a chance to say bye when I left since I was lugging an exhaust up to the counter so if you guys are reading this, it was good to meet you all. Pick-A-Part is like my second home so if you guys, or anyone else for that matter, happens to see my Corolla parked outside in future come and say hi if you see me in the yard (chances are I'll be scavenging an AE101 or something of a similar description ).

Quick heads-up for anyone interested: There's been a red AE101 Corolla FX-GT come into the Mangere yard a couple of days ago. These NEVER come into Pick-A-Part so be quick if you need anything. I've already scavenged a few parts as soon as it came in but there's still plenty left. 4A-GE 20v ST, auto box, 220,000km, accident damage to front right corner, bumper and front right guard stuffed, crack in boot garnish, missing mirrors, TPS and driver's exterior door handle as of lunchtime today.
