Need a reliable power inverter.

I need a realiable power inverter in either one of the following outputs:
240v 50/60hz 1.5a ac
or
19.5v 4.62a dc

Forum member warn me about jaycar but what is a realiable one?

We had the 240v inverters for work but i didn't see any point going from:
12V DC > 240V AC > 19V DC

I now have 12V DC to 19V DC and works a treat.

When using the 12VDC to 240VAC square wave inverters touch screens like on iPhone didn't seem to work that good - was all jumpy and wouldn't sense properly. I think it needed a pure sine wave?

other (better) option is to get a DC-DC converter

I deal with Innovative Energies thru work for 12->24V ones
