Paint colours

Postby Grrrrrrr! » Sun Jul 15, 2012 12:22 am

I'm just wondering what the chances are that toyota 061 (Diamond White) would be similar enough to ford b9 (also called Diamond white) that I could get away with using one to do touchups on the other? Not looking for a particularly good match, just so long as the touchup doesn't stand out from several meters away.

Anybody with access to paint mixing program able to answer?

97 ford mondeo, and turns out it is B3, not B9.

Just asking because i have about 10ltrs of toyota 061 basecoat, and the mondog has many many paint chips, might use it to repaint the bonnet to make it look a bit tidier at some point in the distant future if its not going to stand out like the dogs bollix...

B3 is a yellower and a little bit darker than 061.
It'll work if you're not too fussed about it looking perfect.

Sweet, Cheers. Near enough is good enough in this case.
