Short shifter is in cabin, to the best of my knowledge the shifter cable connection points are the same (would make no sense for toyota to manufacture a different gear shifter mechanism for different engines in the same cabin)Rice_Burner wrote:Hey everyone.

Any help considering the chop and changeable parts between the two engines would be appreciated as im always up to tinker arround with my car.

in terms of my injectors. i think one or more could be on there way out because of a couple reasons.
1. it has a sort of abrupt engine power, as in power wont be smooth throughout the rev range.
2. my idle has recently turned rough, its hard to describe but it abruptly fluxuates around idle revs. which i think is maybe 1 or more injectors not firing when it should.
3. significant reduced gas mileage
to my knowledge i would think that would narrow it down either fuel filter, or injectors. i think maybe before moving onto injectors ill change out the fuel filter and see what happens from there
