bzrspeed, I think the point was that the Soarer above was such a 'frankenstein' of a car that it made it hard to identify. While the cars you have listed are just reasonably well known cars.

Another example would be how people have turned MR2's into Ferrari 'replica's' but you can always tell by the window shape.
