Corolla Runx/ Allex 2001 stereo mouthing kit needed???

Hi guys, does anyone know if you need to use a stereo mouthing kit similar to the link below???

Or can I used the existing mouth from the factory headunit and just get a single din pocket to fill the gap.

You will need those ears, and if it doesnt have a DIN pocket you'll need that too.
