Explains why they are sooooo bloody expensive.

They aren't as bad as Clarkson makes out to drive with either (though noticably different to metal discs).

I thought they are the same thing? ie: Carbon Ceramic

I am yet to try out my carbon ceramic brake pads.

afaik all road cars use carbon ceramic discs (as opposed to carbon like f1, dtm, etc)

Clarkson and myself were both talking about carbon ceramic brakes, not carbon ones.
