just a quick question... are the drivers and passengers recaro rails for ae111 the same for a 4door sedan (GT) and a 2door coupe(BZ-R)? Thanks!

Sedan and coupes have the same floor pan so you can swap seats

so the recaros have basically the same part numbers?

does the passenger rail have to have the release lever for the rear passengers (2door) to get out? i need to be legal as well, so the recaro rails does need cert? Thanks

AFAIK the sedans didn't get Recaros, only the coupes.

The release to flick the seat forward is built into the seat, not the rails - SR3's (factory ITR, Levin etc) have the quick flick piece. Seats from Evo's, Accords etc wont.

option 1: this sort of rail needs a cert

Image

Option 2: this sort does not require a cert (I have these in my car so am sure of this) (a levin / trueno. ae111 95-97 /ae101 factory recaro rail)

Image

Option 3: Ae111 97 - 2000 levin/trueno factory rail (99% sure does not require cert)

there is currently one of these for sale on upgarage http://www.upgarage.com/upgarage/stock/1/2/1207022003043/022
