Hey Team!

We are finally on the summer side of winter… Last year’s events were so successful, we have decided to make sure that this year we have them all planned out and announced well in advance, so that you all have plenty of time to plan for them and can make you can attend. We have a lot on offer for everyone; whether you are into track racing, drag racing, cruising, Show and Shines or hard parks.

To kick off the season the long-talked about Track Day - The Hampton Showdown. Proudly brought to you by Platinum Wheels, Fatcat, and Playday on track this is set to be a fantastic day out for you, please note that we have STRICTLY limited places available – to give you maximum track time and enjoyment. On the day we will have the bbq running and have dj’s pumping out some tunes to keep you company!

Then we move on to RACEWARS! This is guaranteed to be one of the DO NOT MISS events of the season, with pure grudge match-racing (bring your mates and earn the bragging rights). There will be no timing gear, just a drop of the flag to start the race and the first one across the line wins! If that isn’t enough, this will also be one of Ground Level’s official Hard Park events of the season. The aim of this day is to bring together a whole bunch of street cars for the ultimate race day. There will be no holes barred smack talking around this one for a long time to come. The day will finish off with a burnout comp because we all love a good skid!

The first Saturday in January has traditionally been a huge day on the street car calendar. This time round we decided to move our massively popular Mt Maunganui Cruise forward, to take advantage of the hot weather and the beautiful beaches once we arrive! The day is always fun, with a couple of good stop offs along the way and a fantastic map encompassing some of the north islands best roads!

Automania 2013… The date is set my friends, so lock it into your diary - March 16th 2013. Last year’s event saw over 200 cars and 1500 people through Albany stadium. This year we are going back for a bigger and better event, with some surprises up our sleeve so make sure you get along to this event!

Following on from the good times on the Mt Maunganui cruise, we are taking it one step further in April, with an overnight cruise to New Zealand’s tourist mecca that is Rotorua! This is renowned for being one of the most popular scenic drives down the country, with great open roads which include a few twists and turns thrown in along the way. In association with Fatcat, who will be bringing you the official after party at Lava Bar – for those of you game enough to stay and take on the RotoVegas nightlife!

To top it all off, we will be finishing the season in May with our annual Dyno Day, to be held at Torque Performance, Henderson. Our last Dyno day saw 20 cars enter, with the winner putting down over 550K/W at the wheels! Once again, we will sort the men from the boys and find out who has the most power to claim the title of king of the Dyno.

Of course all of this would not be possible without our good friends and sponsors. Once again we will be working with Groundlevel.co.nz, Rota Wheels, Dodson Performance, Hotwire, Skinny Mobile, and we will be taking care of the popular D1NZ Hardparks at the Hampton downs and Pukekohe rounds, As well as that i'm sure we will welcome many new sponsors this year!

Hey man, looks good. Might wanna change the wording in one piece though, the Saying is No HOLDS Barred. No holes barred brings out the worst in my 13yo brain.
