Certification Detail change

Postby spoonza6 » Tue Aug 28, 2012 9:13 pm

If an engine is changed and certified do they update the details that carjam has access to?

Eg: Starlet GT claiming to have a 5EFHTE in it all certed yet carjam has details of it being 4EFTE

Just don't want to buy a car that's going to need more work than its worth

Likewise with my old KE20. 3K as the engine listed still, 1500cc, no mention of turbo.

They seem to have got better more recently, older conversions were very bad for not getting details updated.

Is it a recent car jam report? could be an old report being displayed prior to cert?
