If you have any questions no mater how stupid call Motorsport NZ up and talk to the experts/officials, they are very helpful and that's what you pay them for.

lies !!!! You hit tyres at a rapid'ish pace with no brakes :P

OP - (not sure if it has already been said) go along to a few of the local Wgtn events, talk to people / take a loot at what others have done (they're a fairly friendly bunch & always will to help / talk)

you soon start to get an insight for what works well & what may not work well without having to spend lots of $$'s. Those who have caged cars are usually quite happy for other to ride along every now & then, again a great way to understand modifications v's useability / performance from them

Actually all the supercheap ones I've seen are one strap only.

Ray Hartley Motors had the two strap ones they imported, though they were fairly pricey at about $80 or so.

That's sweet. They'll be good quality at that price. And they'll be good for a couple of years hopefully.

I have a single strap one... Does it no longer comply? Will I have to replace it?

Ah sweet, that's an excellent sign then if Bunnings are supplying them ... bulk buying for the win.

To be clear, when was it that you bought your one from Bunnings?
