Project car... but no garage... suggestions?

Postby Looonie » Tue Sep 25, 2012 9:23 pm

So having a project car, but soon to have no garage... can anyone suggest a solution in the Auckland area?

So far the only idea I've really got is Storage King (or the like) and a fairly large storage unit (which concidentally, is freakin expensive)...

You pay to play...
The further out you look the cheaper it gets but the less you will make time to go and work on it. Also, if you can get RELIABLE mates in to a larger storage area the costs are a lot better.
This is why I don't live in Auckland.

My project car is under a big tarp, guarded by 2 dogs, and you would have to move 3 cord of wood to steal it.

All well and good if you aren't concerned about the exterior condition...can't believe how expensive that lock up is! Though I guess its probably good for Auckland.

I had this problem, well I had single garage but too many projects. Ended up using tarps to covers things. Was a huge pain in the ass.

Ended up buying a bigger house!
