Since its getting close...

Anyone think it would be great if they weren't allowed computers or weather tracking technology in the pits, just have a crew of mechanics and a radio to the driver, nothing else? And carbs, no switchable fuel map bullsh*t.

Anyways, who is everyone picking this year?

Going by past performance the weather tracking stuff is still just as reliable as looking over your shoulder :lol:

I have no problem with switchable fuel maps. All part of the strategy!

Bathurst is hard to pick... Lowndes/Luff look good.
Frosty/Richards are strong.
Can't ignore Whincup/Dumbarse.
I just hope Tander doesn't win, can't stand him :twisted:

And get rid of fuel gauges, just have a reserve switch and that's it. The pit crew can have a calculator

As much as I love both, neither of those relics would bother a current V8 Supercar. Oh and I don't care who wins as long as the spaceframe they do it in has a Ford badge on the front. :lol:

I'm surprised we haven't had the typical "they banned the GTRs for being too fast" bs whinge.

I'd like to see SVG win before he and SBR stick pointy stars on the car

Just wait till they ban the pointy stars for being a health and safety risk.

But on Topic. I pick it to be a close call between the Gis and Lowndes for the pointy end of the race

i have some dvd's of bathurst.
I liked the rs500, gtr and other ones. Got worse when it went to gm vs ford.

No idea who will win, but i'll have it on for sure. Pretty hard to beat laying on the couch in the sun watching taxis race

I also think it'd be awesome if Nissan wins next year. Not because I'm a Nissan fanboy or anything, just think it'd be funny for them to come back after so long and take out the big race.
