I like these changes. It will be good to see if Mercedes can make a consistent race winning car for 2013. And it will be nice to see what Sergio can do at McLaren.

Nah I don't think so as they were team mates in a GP2 team together so they have a connection and get on well I don't for see any problems on that front.

Pretty good move by Mercedes putting Hamilton with Brawn it will be interesting to see how those two go.

As for the Schu well I guess his time was up.

It was more the fact it effectively sidelines Rosberg in the team as a permanent 2nd stringer.

Bye Bye Schumacher for the second time. Man is past his prime, he doesn't have it in him anymore.

Past his prime? Of course.

Able to win races and run with guys 20 years younger, if Mercedes has built him the reliable race winning car they promised? Without a shadow of a doubt.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for the guy, to come out of retirement to try and build up another team to become potential winners, he had nothing to gain, and everything to lose, and that right there, is the sign of one of, if not the most committed racers to ever get behind the wheel.

Hopefully we can see another podium before the end of the season :)

Thanks for the last 20+ years of entertainment you gave to the sport, and your fans, they will be sorely missed.

I wasn't trying to insult the man. If anything I am one of his biggest supporters since the early days. But even he admits he is glad to retire again as his "batteries" are low and he is tired. He came from a different era of F1. They used to test every weekend to develop a car and parts to Michael's liking and Bridgestone would design all their tyres around Michael Schumacher. Pirelli on the other hand couldn't give a toss about what Michael thinks about their tyres.

I am not saying Mercedes gave him a race winning car, but everyone would agree he is not driving that car to it's full potential like Michael could do back in his prime as when he drove for Jordan or Bennetton. Rosberg has outperformed him consistently. While we saw some slight glimpses of his old self as we did in Monaco Qualifying, everyone would be naive or ignorant to think Michael is driving like he used to back in his earlier days.

I wasnt inferring you were insulting him, mate :)

But for the record, when both Mercs have finished the race this year, Schu has been considtently in front of Rosberg, and also often in quali too. Michaels driving this year has been by far the best of his return, but sadly the list of 6 mechanical failures on Schu's car, and his two doggy style incidents, have made the points gap look alot worse than the full story. Had he started on pole in monaco, and not had his wheel nut go missing in China, the picture would be alot different, but I accept that ifs and buts and all that dont change anything...

Im still holding out for a fairy tale ending to his career though hehe ;)

2.4 seconds isnt too shabby huh? :)

What an amazing result for Kamui to get a podium at his home race, the crowd was going nuts!!

Alonso got bit for trying to muscle Kimi off the track, so it sure has tightened up the chamionship now, with 4 points in it and 5 races to go...

I'd rather Seb than the sulky Spaniard!

So, I tip Grosjean for the divers title next year.

Stock car title that is.....

I hope Seb does get another drivers title.

You have to feel sorry for Grosjean. He has pace. And its hard to say why he keeps making massive stuff ups. Looking at the weekend incident. Mark did seem to be going quite slow, but thats still no excuse for crashing into him.

Inexperience on Grosjean's part absolutely he has speed much like his incident at Spa with Hamilton and Alonso there he is as above making those mistakes will only hopefully get better with more seat time I guess..

Grosjean didn't hit anyone!! Did some awesome dives off the track to get away from others though
Bit peeved about the silly yellows for Rosbergs car. Should have called out the safety car, lost us some good racing there.

Other disappointment is the gangnam flag wave... would have been much cooler if it was double waved with the gangnam dance

Exactly what I didnt want to happen! Last year was fairly boring, watching Vettel take the lead at the first corner and from then on the rest was history. I cant see it being anyone else than Vettel to take out the championship unfortunately.
