Wanted: driver dunedin to welly

Post by AE86less »

I'm considering buying lloyd's carina from Dunedin, just exploring ways to get it home.

I would happily pay for diesel and the ferry to get the car to welly if someone wants to get there, or even all the way to Auckland. Is a wagon, so there's space for stuff. Call it a free trip/transport.

I'm sure that lloyd would prefer the car gone once it's sold, but i'm not in a huge rush myself. When are you thinking?

I know someone who will be making that trip, but not until Uni exams are over so may be a bit beyond your timeframe.

Depending on how soon I could be keen - have close family in Dunedin who I like to find excuses to visit.

Confirm.

Also noting that Lloyd does mention that the wagon gets a little warm if pushing it. So a cruisy trip might be in order

If it's only going to Welly then I'll need to figure out when, if someone was going to do Auckland then it could be any time.

Sam, fly down with me on the 26th (Grabaseat was like $80) and we can convoy back (I just bought an ee80 3 door to put beams motor into)

Haha, I'd love to man! Unfortunately it's time that's the issue (and a missus who'd be angry enough about me buying it without disappearing for 2 days).

Got a bunch to do on the house before Xmas and I need every weekend :(
