December Welly Meat, Sunday 9th December

Girvs wrote:Team, looking at organising something before we head off on holidays and the like. As the weather should be a bit better by then, hopefully we can organise a BBQ and meat with lots of meat. The grass in the area isn't too bumpy for lowish cars - I've already had mine on it. BBQ facilities are free, we just need to provide the tools to burn our meat with.

Location: Rivendell, Middle Earth (Kaitoke, Wellington). Picnics and barbecues » Greater Wellington Regional Council

Time: Meet at 1000 Sun 9th Dec in the area to guarantee a spot.

Food: BYO meat, etc.

Later activities: If we can get a photoshoot out there would be good. From there we're either in a good position to drive up the Rimutaka's for a photoshoot at the top, or head back to Silverstream to the driving range to smash some balls.

Attending:
1. Girvs
2. Luke and Lyl
3. Reith & partner??
4. Coryn & partner??
5. DJ2K
6. Position vacant
7. NILPSI
8. 1I1
9. Out
10. Charlie and Mrs Charlie
11. Skyrine Simon
12. Scott & Family
13. Shrike TBC

Sounds good mate, its nice to get the family involved and this is kind of what I was hoping, that we'd have a more open meat this time instead of the one where we eat and cruise everywhere :)

Bump for reminder, this weekend. Be there, or be that guy that never shows up... Weather is looking good for Saturday at this stage

Wellington: Upper Hutt - Weather Forecast from MetService.com

Last minute co-ordination. Probably best bring your own meat or share if you are happy to pool things.

The below is for the Welly peeps only I'm bringing - Palmy probably best to bring your own bits as I know numbers may vary.
-Bread
-Butter
-Ketchup and BBQ sauce (none of this watties shit)
-Onions

Luke and Lyl
Is it possible for you guys to bring some drinks (and cups if you have any).

Coryn
Have you got the opportunity to pick up some paper plates and plastic cuttlery? If not, let me know ASAP

Reith
If you do actually show up, can you do a salad or something? Don't be afraid to bring the mrs out either. There should be a few girls there I'm hoping (Lyl, Charlies mrs and hopefully Coryn's mrs)

If theres only a couple then just let me know bud. I'm happy to get extra bread to suit and so forth, but my charity will only stretch so far. Thought there'd be at least 4-5 of you guys. I'm going to buy a bit more bread than I'd expect that a few of us would have used. But I ain't Jesus ;)
