So I read that they're making a new supra...
Wonder if it will be as popular as the 86?

Yes apparently the 86 is the mid range model with the Supra the top, and the MR2 the bottom.

Personally I would have thought the 86 would be the bottom, and the MR2 the middle.

But maybe they're talking about something else that certain men that own MR2's do

Seems like longer than 4 years...

I have a feeling the next Supra will be based on the next gen BMW F32 4 series platform after seeing a few rumors etc.

It will be popular in the USA, by the time we get one down under it will be like the last Supra, way over priced. But if they can somehow under cut BMW like they have Subaru with the BZR they might sell a few, would think Nissan GTR numbers.

I see there's a brown one for sale at the local Nissan dealership so you'd assume it's been traded in.
So they've been on the market for 2 or 3 months. They've probably sold half a dozen and half of those are back on the market as used cars. Not a great testamonial is it?

Brown is not an 86 colour option so unlikely...

The marketing people might call it 'burnt orange' but in reality it's brown.

No, just brown. Not sour, not a hater. Just saw a brown car and referred to it as brown. Didn't realise it was such a big deal?

Not a big deal at all. Call it brown all you like 8)
Claim there are only half a dozen sold too if you wish.
No one cares about such comments / no big deal given.

I thought it was more like the orangey brown that the 101 fxgt's came in. Wouldn't be suprised if it was the same paint code.
Ugly as sin anyway.

I'll give you it looks a little browny sometimes but in the sun definitely orange. Not my favourite colour but saw an actual brown lexus in the showroom at Rutherford and Bond during the week and THAT certainly looked awful.
