Custom Dash - Warning Light Ideas

Postby MrOizo » Thu Jun 07, 2012 9:52 pm

I am in the process of making a dash to fit all my gauges (not keeping any stock ones!)

I have done a bit of looking around and have found the following:

2" Light Cluster -
Datcon PN 06800-80

Where is there in NZ that can do either of these types? I do like the 4 light cluster!

Don't know sorry, they may sell to you if you walk in off the street, but they're more of a trade supplier.
Most auto electrical workshops will probably have an account with them

Before ordering these from England, does anyone know where to get these locally?

Didn't try Pan Pacific, should have but i would like these waiting for me for when i get back home in a week.

They're £8 each (needing 4 or 5) and £10 shipping which doesnt seem toooooooo bad.

I wired up an Avenger with an Altezza motor, and the dash we made had the lights that you are looking for.

Customer supplied them but I believe they cam from
Robinson Instruments in Auckland.

As above either try Robinson Instruments or Capital Instruments both in Auckland, between them can usually get more stuff with regards to gauges, wirin, plugs etc

Oops. Forgot all about Robinson Instruments. Was overseas at the time and forgot all about them!

Ended up going through Car Builder Solutions (www.cbsonline.co.uk). Service was a bit slack but got there in the end :)
