Can't you just mute/delete the audio track in MM?

yeah thats a good point!

also the cam i got has "night vision" which doesnt work of course, and has LED's for "night use" - they actually ruin the footage good and proper by blinding the lens xD - will dig about to turn that "feature" off

If there is no off, you can always de-solder, tape, bluetack or chewing gum it off.

a friend is wanting to start something like a youtube channel as well, which was the other reason i got the cam, but its not like the footage is copyrighted, we need to get these assholes in the spotlight so ill gladly send you footage of assholes on the roads

Have either of you gathered any good footage yet? I'd be keen to see a YouTube channel of this sort of stuff from NZ. I have some, but not enough yet.
Interestingly enough my last trip to south island, produced no "good" results, as if all the muppets were busy with something else (or maybe it was the storm in Auckland kept them at bay?)....
