Can anyone recomend a pro tool shop in auckland? one that sell specialty tools?

Looking to buy an "impact bar" sort of thing.

You will definitely still need to torque the HB back up as it will likely need to be done up to somewhere north of 200ft/lbs lol

Bathroom scales, 1/2" (or 3/4") breaker bar, piece of pipe to slip over the bar and a hacksaw.

weigh yourself, figure out how far along the pipe/breaker bar to stand.
Probably wont even need the pipe for 200ft-lbs if the breaker bar is long enough/you ate all the pies.

Its easy enough on most american iron! Just eat more till you weigh 400lbs, then you only need a 6inch lever

Its a good way to do axle nuts if you don't already have a 1/2" drive torque wrench.

Haha, this reminds me of what I used to do to loosen/tighter the 52mm nut that held the flywheel on the back of the eccentric shaft, in whatever rotary I was working on lol

A 3ft bar with a 52mm socket welded to the end of it, and some basic arithmatic=win

I can't remember if this was for tightening or loosening, but I heard the trick was to lock the wrench in place (with a big bar?) and give the starter a couple of pulses......

I reckon it was for loosening.... Still... anyone game to try, I heard this from an oldschool mechanic...
