Postby Stott69 » Sat Feb 16, 2013 7:45 pm

Is there anyone in NZ that can make custom swaybars for an acceptable price?

If you are willing to pay less than 1k, there muct be something on the market that fits your budget, surely?

Do whiteline offer bars for your chassis?

Also, what suspension to you have in your car, as you want to match your upgraded bars to your suspension to get the best out of the setup.
wak thud gush!

What's it for? Your AE111? Surely, there are stacks of options for those.
If it's for something else, please enlighten us...

1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time

I had one custom made from a templated I bodged together, and sent it to Snells in South Auckland.

I think it was about $450 to get made, reasonably complicated shape.

If you already have the shape you need, it's easy apart from the fact they're stuck in the 70s and only take cash or cheque...

Yea the Aristo jzs147. The only off the shelf iteam is tanabe, and they are rare as hens teeth. The Ozzie boys are doing a group buy through super pro, $750AUD +p&p, but wont have cash in time for it and p&p will probaly be just as much as the bars. Im on lower springs and kybs at the mo but will change to adjustables once I upgrade brakes. If i get them before the car goes back on the road I can send the factory ones.
